A Michigan automotive industry client recently contacted Advanced Molding Technologies in order to employ our advanced insert molding technology to manufacture thermistors that would be used in automobile temperature sensors.
These thermistors were insert molded using high-impact 30% GF nylon 6/6 into a geometry that required (±).002 inch tolerance.
During in-process testing, we used an ohmmeter to qualify the electrical performance of the thermistor. Through excellent manufacturing processes and consistent quality control, we delivered our client superior injection molded thermistors that could readily be used in their temperature sensors. |
